Flavours of Bucovina

The menu is always dynamic, seasonal, and incredibly varied, making each gathering a truly unique celebration of local flavors and traditions. It is the perfect opportunity for runners to truly connect with the community before race day. It’s a relaxed moment to meet fellow athletes, share stories, exchange expectations, and feel the pulse of Bucovina Ultra Rocks by UTMB® beyond the starting line.

Guests will enjoy authentic recipes that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Among the highlights are the hosts’ own aged cheeses, wild strawberries with sour cream and polenta, live-cooked balmoș, traditional Moldavian tochitură served with sour milk and potato polenta, homemade white chocolate infused with lovage, and many other seasonal surprises. The experience also includes beverages (water, wine, beer, traditional elderflower drink, and more) and live music.

At the same time, it offers a deeper introduction to what Bucovina genuinely represents: authentic hospitality, extraordinary local cuisine, breathtaking landscapes, and the warmth of its people. It’s an experience designed to help runners not only prepare for the race, but also feel part of something larger: a place, a culture, and a community that welcomes them wholeheartedly.

Only 150 spots will be available for runners, making this an intimate and exclusive gathering. The participation fee is 59 EUR, and it includes an exceptionally rich and diverse culinary experience featuring dozens of dishes:

For those who prefer a sustainable option, we will offer transportation to the venue with green energy: an electric bus (already operating in Câmpulung), ensuring a comfortable and environmentally responsible journey.
