At Bucovina Ultra Rocks by UTMB, those spirits are the volunteers who line the ridges, stir the soup pots, light the lamps, and guide each runner home.

Our team is woven from many threads - students and retirees, engineers and artists, locals who know every spruce by name, travellers who heard the mountain whisper once and never forgot. Together they shape an experience that outshines distance: they are the first smile at dawn and the last voice in the night.

Their purpose - and ours - is simple: reveal the wild beauty of Rarău-Giumalău, the Pietrosul Bistriței peak, and every hidden glade in between. When you meet a Guardian on the trail, you meet Bucovina itself.
